You know when you’re a kid and you like something so much you decide you want to marry it? That’s how I feel about the Cush.

When I first discovered Tantus, I went to their site and looked through everything. Out of all the toys, the Cush 02 is the one that stood out. I have no idea why, it’s not the fanciest looking toy, it’s sure as hell not the most affordable, but I knew I needed it. After months of longing, Tantus had their 25% off all dildos sale and I couldn’t help myself, I had to get it. Along with several other toys because I have no self control.

The Cush 02 is from Tantus’ dual density “02” line of toys. It has a hard, coloured, inner core with a gloriously squishy outer layer, all made form Tantus’ completely body-safe ultra-premium silicone. Cush is a bigger toy, the circumference varying from 5.4” to 5.8”, with an insertable length of 7”. Cush comes in three colours; blue, pink and dark purple. It’s also anal safe and harness compatible.

I can’t always use the Cush from a cold start, I have to play around a bit first. I usually warm up with my Cush before moving onto the Cush to insure I don’t hurt myself. The silicone is matte and grabby so lube is a necessity.

The tip of the Cush is tapered and seems to be completely super-squish silicone (this is what I’m going to call the softer outer layer) which helps ease insertion. It’s not a big head that you force in causing a pop and you start to regret not warming up but it’s already too late. It slides in nicely, gives a good stretched feeling without being too much and that soft outer layer just feels really, really, nice.

The dual density isn’t the best part of the Cush. The best part, the thing that makes the Cush shine and makes me want to use it every time I masturbate, is the ridge.

tantu cush 02 dildoThe ridge is kind of unassuming, I mean, it’s just one ridge right what’s it gonna do? LET ME TELL YOU THE WONDERS OF THE RIDGE.

The ridge is made of super-squish and reaches almost all the way around, fading out to a less severe dent at the back below the head. The sides of the ridge start about 3.5″ from the tip and reaches its peak at the front at about 4.8″ below the tip. If you can’t take at least 5″ inserted, you’re not going to get the best from this toy. I’m sure it will still feel good, but it won’t reach its full potential.

When I first used the Cush, what I wrote down on my notes was “idk what it’s doing but fuck it feels good” After some more time, what the Cush does so brilliantly, is because of the ridge. When you insert it, you can feel the ridge on your labia and vaginal opening. It pretty much forces you to be aware of the added sensation. I have one other textured toy, a Tantus Echo Handle, but I don’t feel that texture externally. Because of the girth of the Cush, you don’t have much of an option. The ridge stimulates your vaginal opening fucking brilliantly the whole time you’re using it. When it’s in deeper it rubs against the front wall of your vagina. But the feeling as the ridge comes and goes into me, is so goddamn wonderful. I don’t have words to properly explain how stimulating I find it.

The girth does help put some pressure on the G-spot but Cush isn’t necessarily a G-spot toy. My G-spot is super easily stimulated so I don’t need to fuss about it because for me, no matter what, I’m going to have stimulation. If I wanted G-spot I’d grab my Ella. It can be angled to hit it, and when it does it strokes it perfectly, but for me, it’s all about the added sensation from the ridge.

I don’t know how to explain what makes the sensation it gives so good. It almost tickles? The closest I can get to describing it is that it feels like a gently teasing rub against my labia, reminiscent of what it feels like to have a tongue tease my labia. Except instead of a tongue, it’s super-squish silicone crafted by Gods. When it strokes my inner walls it feels just as nice, adding gentle but not overwhelming sensation to that area.

Cush literally gives me shivers. Every single time I have used it. All-over body shivers.

When I start using it I find it hard to stop. Without fail, when I use the Cush, I will end up thrusting like a mad woman, as if my life depends on my ability to stuff myself full of silicone just a few more times. I just want to keep going until I dehydrate and die. Not even by choice, I’m compelled by vagina not to stop because goddamnit it feels so good.

Thankfully, my upstairs brain manages to wrangle me in and stop me, just in time for me to forget how my arms work.

I’m struggling to find any downsides to this toy that aren’t obvious. It attracts lint like most silicone toys do.  If you don’t like or can’t handle girth, Cush isn’t for you. As I said earlier, you won’t get the full blissful feelings from it if you can’t take at least 5″ in length.

There is one nitpicky thing about it though. My Cush has some rough spots in the silicone. When I run my finger over the head and just under, its just very light roughness that isn’t on the rest of the toy. It feels gritty under my fingertips. Also, just under the head and the ridge, there is what looks to be a teeny lump of silicone that shouldn’t be there. If I hadn’t noticed this straight out of the box, I would have just assumed it was something I’d done. After a few uses they got a bit worse. I contacted Tantus customer service and spoke to them. They confirmed it was small air bubbles, that is wasn’t unusual for air bubbles to form around ridges with the supersoft silicone and that unless the bubbles had broken it wasn’t anything to worry about. As the air bubbles on my first Cush had broken, this was a problem as the small holes that creates can lead to the collection of bacteria. They offered to send me a new toy, which I accepted.

This replacement one, in pink, has no rough patches at all. The core is off center so one side is pretty much solid while the other side has extra squish. It also looks a teensy bit shorter than the blue Cush but only a little bit. I haven’t found any of that to make a difference during use.

Tantus’ customer service is great and it makes me even more confident to recommend their products. Sadly, too many companies have crappy customer service, thankfully Tantus isn’t one of them.

Other than that, I can say nothing bad about the Cush. I’m in love. I am scribbling in my notebook CUSH + MY VAG and Mrs. L Cush02.

Cush is genuinely one of the best things I have ever put in myself.
