The Lelo Siri has always appealed to me. It looks dainty and cute, like a pet rock you’re very fond of. I’d never had the chance to try one, and from the reviews I’ve read, most people were looking forward to a Siri 2 because of much-needed updates. Lo and behold, there has been an update and I have one.

I’ve had my Lelo Siri 2 for several weeks now. It’s a toy that I wasn’t allowed to talk about, and therefore unable to review, so I’ve had more than enough time to use it leisurely without time constraints. Timelines don’t affect my clits opinion on things, but it does mean I have had the opportunity to choose to use it. I’ve had the chance to let my clit crave it, rather than having it forced upon it because I need to write. And the Lelo Siri 2 is a toy I do crave.

The Siri 2 fits nicely in my palm, it has Lelo’s gloriously smooth, not-very-linty silicone and is finally, thankfully, waterproof.

Like most Lelo toys, the Siri 2 is rechargeable. Siri uses a USB cable to charge, as an international user I appreciate that. There’s no fuckery when it comes to adapters or having no choice but to buy from your country.

In my notes I have that when I took it out of the packaging it had a smell, I’d completely forgotten this and any smell has since completely dissipated. If you get a Siri 2 and it has a smell initially, wash it and air it out and it should disappear.

After charging and turning it on I was immediately impressed by the vibrations. They’re a buzzy/rumbly hybrid that are quite strong. I’ve put them on the palms of both my mother and brother, as well as my nose, cheeks and face, and I’ve come to the conclusion that there’s little to no discernible difference in vibration between the Siri 2 and the Mona 2.  The vibration buzzrumble is the same, the lower speeds having a lower rumble and getting buzzier as the speed is increased. The top speeds are hard to pick which is strongest, they’re pretty much on par.

I’ve said it before, but it applies again now, the Lelo Mona 2 just doesn’t work for me clitorally. I love the rumble but it just doesn’t work. The Lelo Siri 2 works infinitely better for bringing me to orgasm.

I can nestle it between my labia on top of my clit and apply the pressure I need. I don’t get painful arm cramps that I get when I try to apply pressure with the Mona. It doesn’t work perfectly for my body and what I need, but it’s still very enjoyable. I like my clit being cupped, it makes pressure easier and it doesn’t slip from where I put it. The Lelo Siri 2 can’t cup my clit, but it’s still an awesome little vibe.

I prefer to use the Siri on its own. When its combined with vaginal penetration things get slippery and it doesn’t stay where I want it to. I go to it when I just want to pump out a few quick clitoral orgasms, which it works really well for. Sometimes orgasming from a clit vibe alone doesn’t work, or doesn’t satisfy me, but with the Siri 2 that’s not a problem.

The Lelo Siri 2’s body leads it to having direct but not pinpoint stimulation, but it does have the potential for pinpoint stimulation if you use the very tip. I notice some dampening, not because of material but because more of my body comes in contact with the vibe so it diffuses a bit.

The buttons can be a little stubborn to press, I tend to pull it away and look as I’m pressing because of this. Operation makes sense though. The – and + increase and decrease the speed, holding down the turns it off and the + turns it on. The  and  control the patterns.

Along with now being waterproof and having more oomph than the original Siri, the Siri 2 has the option to be sound responsive. Completely useless for orgasming but pretty entertaining. Small things amuse small minds? But it also claims that the built-in patterns are inspired by music. They just feel like average patterns, if a little more upbeat. Holding down the  and  for a few seconds switches it into the sound responsive mode.

Sometimes the responsive mode reacts to nothing. I don’t think it’s necessarily accurate, but nonetheless amusing. I like to use songs that make it even more entertaining; My Songs Know What You Did In The Dark, When I Think About You I Touch Myself. You get the idea. Causes more laughs than orgasms.

The Lelo Siri 2’s sound response mode is very gimmicky and unnecessary, but the rest of the toy holds up well on its own and I think the price is worth it.

When it comes to cleaning, it can be washed the same way any other silicone toy can. Bleach/water or just with soap. The seam between the plastic and the silicone can collect a bit of gunk, so if you’ve got a toothbrush handy using it to make sure you’ve cleaned your Siri thoroughly would be a good idea.

The Lelo Siri 2 is a really good clit vibe. It’s more expensive than a few other good vibes, like the We-Vibe Tango and Touch, but it has more than one button and a greater variation in speeds. When my Touch dies, I will usually reach for my Siri. Sometimes my body only responds to one or the other. Sometimes it wants nothing to do with Siri, sometimes Siri is the only vibe that can round it in and push me over the edge.

If you need absolute pinpoint stimulation, the The Siri 2 may leave you slightly frustrated. But if you’re in the market for a fairly strong, comfy clit vibe, with a nice basic rumble and a large range of vibration settings, the The Lelo Siri 2 is a fantastic toy to consider.

EDIT: I took my SIRI into the bath with me a couple days ago. It held up fine and vibrated away and was still functioning afterward. Tonight however, it turned itself on and scared the crap out of me. Now it wont turn off. Its currently vibrating away in my underwear drawer. The buttons wont light up and have no effect, plugging it into the charger it shows a steady light indicating its fully charged, the silicone has pulled away from the underneath; I can pinch the silicone with ease like it’s skin. Its making weird beepy sounds.
I’m not sure if taking it in the bath is what caused this, or maybe the bath stuff I used did Or if I just got a dodgy unit.
I’ve sent an email to the LELO rep I correspond with and am awaiting a reply. For now, I have a gremlin vibrator. I’m going to be extremely disappointed if it turns out it wasnt really 100% waterproof like it’s supposed to be. I will definitely keep this updated.

UPDATE: I received my replacement SIRI 2. So far it’s holding up well, I’m afraid to submerge it because I love it, but I will force myself to do it, for you. One issue that has continued on with this replacement is the annoying, high-pitch buzz that happens when SIRI is charging. I have to charge it in another room because it makes me want to tear my brain out. It’s that sort of buzz you don’t know if it’s in your head or real, but once you noticed it’s impossible to ignore.

  1. Thank you for the helpful review!
I already have a mona 2 and just like you said, my arm gets too cramped when I try to put some pressure onto it. It’s definately enjoyable but I’ve been thinking I need a much convenient toy for external stimulation and to get the job done. I don’t want to spend money on a toy so similar to what I already have, but from reading your review, it seems like what I was exactly looking for. Thanks!
